A free six-week workshop for anyone with a long-term illness is scheduled from 1 to 3:30 p.m. March 11 through April 15 at Lions Club Park Senior Center, 1700 E. Stan Schlueter Loop, Killeen.

Long-term illnesses include arthritis, COPD, asthma, heart disease and hypertension. Developed at the Stanford School of Medicine, Patient Education Research Center, the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program is co-sponsored by Scott & White Healthcare and the Area Agency on Aging of Central Texas.
