Workshop to teach basics about funding a small business

The Central Texas Business Resource Center and the Belton Economic Development Corporation are offering a free Bankrolling Your Business workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Belton EDC office, 2180 N. Main St.

The workshop will teach the fundamentals of getting funding for a small business. It will cover grants, loans, other sources and what it takes to qualify for funding. A question-and-answer session will follow the workshop.

Entrepreneurs interested in participating must reserve a seat at least one day in advance by calling (254) 200-2001 or by emailing marcusc@workforcelink.com. All materials for the workshop are free.
