Nearly 1,700 residents in northeast Killeen and northwest Harker Heights were without power at 1:15 p.m. Monday after a car hit a utility pole near Roy Reynolds Road in Harker Heights, according to an Oncor spokesman.

Karl Green said power was restored to the residents in about 30 minutes.
