COPPERAS COVE — A vehicle crashed into a Copperas Cove elementary school early Friday morning.

The crashed occurred on the north side of the Fairview-Miss Jewel Elementary School, before students were in school, according to the Copperas Cove Independent School District.

No students or faculty were injured as a result of the crash, which officials said left a hole in the campus’ north wall and damaged a computer lab.

No other classrooms were damaged, and the campus remains open to students, who were in class Friday.

Police have yet to release any information about the driver of the vehicle. A spokesperson for the department said Friday that no information would be forthcoming until a police report on the incident was completed and approved.
