GATESVILLE — After thunderstorms drenched the area with up to 10 inches of welcome rain Thursday and Friday, the sky cleared and the temperature dropped Saturday for a comfortably cool Spurfest 2013.
Hundreds turned out for the 40th annual celebration of the community festival — formerly known as the Shivaree.
