COPPERAS COVE - A 37-year-old man remained in Coryell County Jail on Thursday after police accused him of breaking into a woman's home and choking her.

Justice of the Peace John Guinn arraigned Willie Anderson Green on Wednesday on a charge of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony. Guinn set Green's bond at $10,000.

According to an arrest complaint, the victim of the incident heard someone banging loudly on her front door about 7 p.m. March 30.

The women then allegedly told the man at the door, Green, to go away and stop knocking. However, Green forced his way into the house, stated the complaint.

Green and the woman began to argue when Green reportedly put his hands around the victim's neck, which impeded her ability to breathe, she said in the complaint. Green also reportedly slapped the victim several times and threatened to kill her.

Guinn also arraigned the following:

Jeffrey Chase Woods, on June 8, on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Guinn set his bond at $10,000.

Michael Wayne Pinkston, on Saturday, on a charge of burglary of habitation to commit assault. Guinn set his bond at $20,000.

Tammy Saveda, on Tuesday, on a charge of theft of property less than $1,500 with two or more prior convictions. Guinn set her bond at $5,000.

Shannon Nicole Lahue, on Sunday, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Guinn set her bond at $5,000.
