Cold snap expected to hit tonight

Another cold snap will make its way through Central Texas this evening, according to a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.

Jason Dunn said the day will start off warm with temperatures in the mid-70s, but temperatures will start dropping back down into the 40s, with a low around 41 degrees, this evening with wind gusts out of the North at up to 20 mph.

Dunn said there is a 20 percent chance of rain today that will continue into Sunday.

Dunn said the high on Sunday will be in the mid-40s with the low about 32 degrees. Winds are expected out of the north with gusts of up to 20 mph.

A 20 percent chance of rain returns Monday afternoon with the high expected to be near 50 degrees and winds from 5 to 10 mph.

The chance of rain increases Monday night with a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms and a low in the high-30s.
