Copperas Cove Independent School District received a ninth bomb threat late tonight for one of its campuses and closed all schools Wednesday.

At 10 p.m. the district’s spokesperson Olga Peña said the decision was made to close every school after another bomb threat was reported to the district.

Peña wouldn’t say which school received the bomb threat, but that all campuses would be closed because of the threat.

Before tonight, the district has experienced eight bomb threats at three campuses — Copperas Cove High School, S.C. Lee Junior High and Copperas Cove Junior High — in the span of six school days.
