The Coryell County Sheriff’s office is looking for a man and woman who crashed into one of its vehicles before speeding off.

Chief Deputy Joe Blackley confirmed Friday the sheriff’s office issued warrants for the arrest of Stephen Andrew Jackson, 20, and Loria Renee Paynter, 22, in connection with the incident.

Blackley said the two were in a vehicle that crashed into a sheriff’s vehicle Nov. 7 in Gatesville before fleeing the scene. The vehicle was damaged, but no one was injured, Blackley said.

Jackson and Paynter are both charged with deadly conduct, a class A misdemeanor, and evading arrest or detention in a motor vehicle, a state jail felony.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on Jackson and Paynter to contact the Coryell County Sheriff’s Office at 254-865-7201.
