Cougar Kupczynski fawned over Sgt. Randy Serrault when he rode up to the service port of Killeen Power Sports for a dinner ride hosted by the store.

“He pulls up on that dark bike and I thought, ‘Please let this guy be riding with us,’” Kupczynski said. “Then he takes his helmet off and I thought, ‘Please let this guy be single.’ He’s gorgeous.”

That night, June 14, 2012, the couple rode around Central Texas before stopping at a gas station in Lampasas.

“We had a two-hour conversation just standing next to the bikes, talking about ourselves and our past and everything,” said Serrault, a signal specialist with the 1st Cavalry Division.

One year later — on Friday — the couple got married at the store where they fell in love.

Jim Foster, owner of Killeen Power Sports, said it was the first time in his career that he’s seen someone get married in a motorcycle store.

“I thought it was nice (when they asked). It sounded like a great idea,” Foster said. “They met each other here, they bought their motorcycles here and they’ve been going on social rides that we have.”

Serrault smiled at his bride as she walked through a row of motorcycles. The newlyweds said they were relieved after exchanging vows.

“Now he’s mine and I don’t have to worry about it,” Kupczynski said, clutching her groom’s arm.

When they met, Serrault said it felt like he had known Kupczynski for years.

“Since we’ve been riding together, when we started dating, everything felt right,” he said. “(I love) her personality and the energy that she gives off. When we’re around, I’m excited and happy.”
