COPPERAS COVE - Police arrested a Copperas Cove man on felony charges because they say he lied about his name and age after being ticketed for a theft under $50 Monday.

Rhondius Rembrent, 18, was not in Coryell County Jail on Thursday after Justice of the Peace John Guinn arraigned him on a charge of forgery of a government document, a state jail felony. Guinn set Rembrent's bail at $7,500.

According to the arrest complaint, police were interviewing Rembrent for a theft citation when he provided the name "RJ" and told the officer his birth date was Sept. 21, 1992.

After returning to the police department, the officer discovered "RJ" was actually named Rhondius and his birthday was Sept. 21, 1993.

Rembrent also lied about his Social Security number and his address, the arrest complaint stated.

Guinn also arraigned the following:

Linda Dalet Dunson on Feb. 2 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. Guinn set her bail at $7,500.

Samuel Antoine Bryant on Feb. 2 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. Guinn set his bail at $10,000.

William Thomas Dunson IV on Feb. 2 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams, and theft of a firearm. Guinn set his bail at $15,000.

Christopher Alexander Mopkins on Feb. 4 on a charge of burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit assault. Guinn set his bail at $10,000.

Justice of the Peace Bill Price arraigned Patricia Marie Casey on Feb. 2 on a charge of burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit assault. Price set her bail at $7,500.
