Four people charged as adults in connection to Saturday night's altercation at the Killeen Mall were arraigned by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke over the weekend.

Sofia Marie Morales, 17, was charged with the unlawful carrying of a weapon and rioting after police found two handguns in a Nissan Rogue she was in. A .380 Sig Sauer and a 9 mm Taurus were found, and Morales does not have a license to carry, according to an affidavit.

One of the guns was reported stolen out of Austin, police said in a news release. Morales was the only female arrested.

The initial report police received state that there were shots fired. Officers could not validate this claim at the time, as no armed suspects or gunshot victims were found throughout the entire mall.

Khalil Donzell Lowe, 18, Robert Lewis Webb Jr. and R'Monte Tyshonn Alcorn, 17, were in the SUV with Morales, and arrested. All three were charged with rioting, and Lowe was charged with failing to identify as a fugitive after he gave police a fake name initially. Lowe was also charged with assault and battery and interference with an emergency call.

Webb was charged with rioting. He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from a felony robbery he was charged with as a minor.

Alcorn was charged with rioting.

Killeen police do not know what started the brawl at this time, according to police spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez.

Mall general manager Denise Dasse declined to say whether the mall would take extra security measures, or if the threat of fights had been a problem in the past. The Killeen Mall staff is cooperating with Killeen police on the investigation.

"Safety and security is a top priority at our center; we take proactive measures to promote a safe environment here," Dasse said in a phone call Monday. "Due to the sense of nature of safety and security, we do not disclose our methods, as this would compromise our efforts. What I can tell you is that we have a highly trained security staff in place."
