1 man shot in Killeen home invasion

Police are looking for three suspects who shot and injured a man during an early Thursday home invasion robbery in Killeen.

According to police, four men were playing video games in the garage of a residence in the 3900 block of Jakespoon Drive when the three suspects, armed and wearing masks, burst in and demanded money.

One of the men in the garage began to struggle with one of the suspects.

During the altercation, he was shot.

The three suspects took money and other personal items and fled.

Killeen police arrived at the scene just after 12:30 a.m., and the wounded man was transported to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood.

He was later transferred to Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

His condition was listed as stable.

As of Thursday afternoon, the three suspects were still at large.
