BELTON — Police are seeking two people they believe stole jewelry from the Walmart in Belton early Monday.

The theft occurred between midnight and 1 a.m., a Belton Police Department news release states.

One suspect is a white male with dark hair and possible facial hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt over a gray long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans, police said. The second suspect is a white male who was wearing a green-hooded sweater with a baseball cap.

The suspects were last seen in a gray or silver four-door sedan with dark-tinted rear windows. The suspects might be in a purple or blue Chrysler PT Cruiser.

These people are suspected in burglaries in other cities throughout the state, the release states.

On Nov. 30, Killeen police reported $20,000 worth of jewelry had been stolen from the Killeen Walmart. A Chrysler PT Cruiser was said to have been involved in that case.
