Two brothers received lengthy prison sentences Monday for their roles in running a large-scale cocaine distribution operation based in Killeen.

Christopher Andrew Wilson, 30, and 32-year-old Cornelius Tywarren Wilson were found guilty by a jury March 10, and sentenced in Waco Federal Court on Wednesday on multiple drug charges.

Christopher Wilson was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison, while Cornelius Wilson received a 30-year sentence.

U.S. District Judge Walter S. Smith Jr. also ordered the brothers to pay $3,500 in fines, and be placed under supervised release for 10 years after completing their respective prison terms.

According to federal investigators, evidence in the trial revealed the organization led by the Wilson brothers was responsible for distributing nearly 30 kilograms of cocaine and “crack” cocaine in Killeen and the surrounding area between April 2011 and May 2013.

The jury also found 29-year-old Bryant Keith Presley guilty of multiple drug charges in connection with the investigation. Presley is scheduled to be sentenced May 28.

The Wilson brothers and Presley were among eight Killeen residents indicted and convicted of federal drug charges in connection with this cocaine distribution operation, according to a news release.

The other five defendants entered guilty pleas before jury selection and received federal prison sentences ranging from 18 months to 151 months. The FBI, DEA and the Killeen Police Department participated in the investigation.
