Robbery suspects

Two men are being sought after committing an armed robbery Tuesday morning.

Killeen police responded to the call at 12:01 p.m, arriving at the Cash Store, 719 E. Rancier Avenue, to learn that two males had entered the business and demanded money, according to Ofelia Miramontez, KPD spokeswoman.

One of the men displayed a handgun, Miramontez said. The two men fled southbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The first robber is described as a black male in his 20’s, approximately 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, possibly with a beard or goatee. He was last seen wearing a black beanie, eyeglasses, a white/crème long sleeve shirt, and black pants.

The second robber is described as a medium build black male,

approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants and royal blue shoes.

No one was injured in the incident, which remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division, Violent Crimes Unit.
