Copperas Cove police arrested one man and are looking for another in connection with the theft of a donation jar from a local business.

On Nov. 12, three men entered the Fast Time Fina on 502 N. First St. and stole a donation jar that had been placed there by the family of a former 34-year-old Copperas Cove resident who recently died, police said.

Two suspects were identified as Timothy Sedric Martin Blackwell and Mitchell Alan Martin.

Martin was arrested Thursday, but Blackwell remains at large. The issuing of a warrant for the third suspect is pending, police said.

Anyone with information about Blackwell is asked to call Copperas Cove Crime Stoppers at (254) 547-1111 or go to www.tipsubmit.com.
