Maria and Jeffery Gilseth were hoping a judge would allow them to contact their children, but the hearing on Friday was re-scheduled to September

BELTON — A Brady couple who are accused of ignoring a custody ruling and fleeing the state with their three sons after a visitation in Killeen are anticipating a hard road ahead in Bell County courts.

Maria and Jeffery Gilseth, after a pretrial hearing on Friday, told the Herald that they are “heartbroken” they have not been allowed to see their children for almost six months but that the boys, ages 12, 9 and 5, are “safe and with family.”
