COPPERAS COVE — A Copperas Cove man accused of burglary remained in Coryell County Jail on Monday.
Justice of the Peace Bill Price arraigned Daivone Martell Durr, 22, on a charge of burglary of a habitation. Price set his bond at $25,000.
Police officers were investigating a May 2 home burglary when they discovered that an Xbox and an Xbox Kinect on a stolen property database were purchased by Game X Change in Killeen, the arrest affidavit stated.
Officers allegedly identified Durr as the seller of the items to the business through store records and made an arrest after a warrant was issued last week.
In an unrelated incident, Price arraigned Justin Ray Vinson of Copperas Cove on a charge of assault causing bodily injury. Price set his bond at $5,000.
Officers arrested Vinson after he allegedly pushed a woman over and choked her, according to an arrest affidavit. Vinson allegedly told police that he didn’t choke the victim during this incident, but he has choked her before.
