COPPERAS COVE — Police in Copperas Cove are searching for Corey Latrell Southard, who is believed to be responsible for the aggravated robbery of a convenience store.

Southard walked into the Copperas Hills Food Mart at 107 W. Avenue E on March 20 with a hand gun and demanded money from the clerk, police said. He made off with cash, and the employee was not harmed in the incident.

Southard is described as 5-foot-10 and 162 pounds. He is 22 years old, and was indicted by a grand jury in February 2016 on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle.

If you have any information that could lead to an arrest, contact the Copperas Cove Police Department at 254-547-8222 or Copperas Cove Crime Stoppers at 254-547-1111.
