COPPERAS COVE — Police arrested a woman suspected of stabbing a man in the neck after she demanded money in exchange for a sexual pleasure.
Justice of the Peace John Guinn on Saturday arraigned Sakeitra Quinsha’ Amboree on a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor criminal mischief charge. Guinn set her bail at $22,000.
Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Mueller Street about 1:18 a.m. Saturday after Amboree allegedly called the police, an arrest affidavit stated. Amboree reported she stabbed the tires of the man’s vehicle because she refused to give him sexual favors.
Once at the scene, police discovered the man bleeding from the neck and Amboree with a folding knife, the affidavit stated. The man reportedly had an inch-long puncture wound on the left side of his neck and a scratch on the center of his neck.
The victim told police he picked Amboree up in Killeen and was bringing her to Copperas Cove. While en route, she asked for money. She continued to ask for money and eventually offered to perform a sexual act for $60.
When the victim declined, he pulled over and asked her to get out of the vehicle, the affidavit stated.
Amboree then said she refused to get out of the vehicle because she didn’t want to be left “in a town she did not know” and allegedly attacked the victim. She then got out of the car and stabbed its right-side tires, the affidavit stated.
In an unrelated incident, Guinn arraigned William Paul McCoy on charges of burglary of a building with the intent to commit a felony and arson causing damage to a building. Guinn set his bail at $14,000.
McCoy is suspected of entering a home and lighting a fire in a bathtub.
