Cove police: Woman threatened to shoot children

COPPERAS COVE — Police Thursday arrested a Copperas Cove woman suspected of threatening to shoot children at Williams/Ledger Elementary School.

According to police reports, officers arrested Shelly Dawn Davis on Thursday on a charge of a terroristic threat at a public place.

She was arrested at the school at about 4:51 p.m.

The woman was demanding to get her child who she doesn’t have custody of when she threatened to get a gun from her car, stated an arrest affidavit.
