BELTON - Less than a week after his arrest, a former Killeen High School student has been indicted on a drug possession charge after he allegedly brought steroids to the campus.

Sean Michael Tamez, 20, of Nolanville, is facing a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 28 grams in a drug-free zone.

Tamez was arrested last December as a result of a routine drug dog sweep of the parking lot at KHS. A dog alerted on Tamez's vehicle, and police were notified.

Police found two unused syringes and a bottle labeled Testosterone Enanthate, commonly known as steroids. A Texas Department of Public Safety lab found the weight of the drug to be 1.01 grams.

Assistant Bell County District Attorney Murff Bledsoe said investigators waited on results of analysis of the drug before charging Tamez.
