A Killeen teenager who Killeen police said broadcast a video on Facebook Live in which she threatened to “commit two murders” while she was smoking marijuana and holding a gun is in the Bell County Jail after her arrest.
Alexis O’Neal was arrested Feb. 23 while walking in the 1500 block of Bundrant Drive. At the time of her arrest, she was carrying a firearm in her right front pants pocket and told police that she was angry because she was jumped the day before, according to an affidavit for arrest.
O’Neal told police that she had “an extreme addiction to marijuana,” according to the affidavit for arrest, and said that she smoked more than three blunts a day to function.
“O’Neal stated she had the handguns to prove to people she will not be caught ‘slippin’ again,” the affidavit said.
O’Neal was charged with addict in possession of a firearm, and was held in the Bell County Jail as of 4 p.m. Wednesday. A criminal complaint was filed with the U.S. District Court’s Western District in Waco. The gun was acquired unlawfully, according to Killeen police.
In an unrelated incident, Justin Noel Figueroa Vazquez was arraigned on a charge of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle. He was held in the Bell County Jail on a $40,000 bond.
