WACO — A 23-year-old Fort Hood man will remain in jail while awaiting trial after investigators said he tried to smother a small child earlier this month.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey C. Manske ruled Tuesday that Charles Anthony Bartley will remain in jail without bond as he waits to face a felony charge of assaulting a minor with a deadly weapon. According to a criminal complaint, Bartley attempted to smother his 14-month-old stepson with a pillow May 7.

The child’s mother said she walked down the stairs to find Bartley forcing the child’s face into a pillow.

Bartley stopped what he was doing, left the residence and turned himself in to military police. As of Wednesday morning, no further hearings were set in Bartley’s case.

These Women only think about sex when they are lonely and do anything to find someone, no considering the safety of their children. Women needs to Start Thinking as a Mothers First(when having little kids to raise) Before thinking as a Women and trying to fill their "emptyness" with Any person out there, Think About Your CHILD!
