Harker Heights police are looking a suspect in connection with a late night robbery of a local Family Dollar store.

The robbery took place at about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, when an unknown male wearing an all-black long sleeve sweatshirt, black pants and a black bandana covering his face entered the Family Dollar on the 600 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard. The suspect produced a weapon, and left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a statement from the Harker Heights Police Department.

The suspect was last seen in the vicinity of the 200 block of Indian Trail. No one was injured, police said.

The police are asking any person with information about the robbery to contact the Harker Heights Police Department's criminal investigation division at 254-953-5400.
