Harker Heights police Sunday arrested a 23-year-old man accused of threatening a man and shooting a gun at him at a local trailer park.

Kevin Lee Cornelius was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with an alleged shooting just before 10 p.m. Sunday.

Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke arraigned Cornelius on Monday, setting his bail at $100,000.

The shooting occurred after the alleged victim accused Cornelius of sleeping with his girlfriend, an arrest affidavit states.

The man came home to find Cornelius alone with his girlfriend in their trailer. Cornelius became angry with the man after he made the accusation and threatened to shoot him, the affidavit states.

The man then left. Cornelius contacted him later and asked him to return so they could talk things over.

When the man returned, Cornelius pointed a gun at his head. Cornelius then chased the man, tried to punch him and fired the weapon at him, the affidavit states.

Cooke also arraigned the following:

Joseph Davis, 22, Roxanne Alcozar, 25, and Michael Enriquez, 28, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, 4 grams or more but less than 200 grams, with intent to deliver. The three suspects were arrested Friday after police found nearly 100 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine in their home. Cooke set their bail at $50,000 each.

Anthony Carl Williams, 26, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, less than 1 gram, and possession of a dangerous drug. Williams’ bail was set at $25,000.
