HARKER HEIGHTS — Police are looking for a man they said used a gun to rob a local Dollar General store on Saturday.

The robbery took place about 10:55 p.m. when a man entered Dollar General in the 900 block of Mountain Lion Road and produced a “black in color rifle type firearm,” according to a news release from the Harker Heights Police Department.

The man took an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the area on foot. He was last seen in the 900 block of Mountain Lion Road, police said. No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black man, last seen wearing an all-black hoodie and black pants with a black bandana covering his face and a white glove covering his left hand.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact the police department’s Criminal Investigation Division at 254-953-5400.
