Harker Heights police are looking for a man they say robbed a local Dollar General store with a gun Saturday.

The robbery took place at about 10:55 p.m., when a man entered the Dollar General located in the 900 block of Mountain Lion Road and produced a "black in color rifle type firearm," according to a news release from the police department.

The man took an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the area on foot. He was last seen in the 900 block of Mountain Lion Road, police said.

No one was injured in the commission of the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, last seen wearing an all-black hoodie and black pants with a black bandana covering his face and a white glove covering the left hand.

The investigation is continuing, and any person with information about the incident is urged to contact the Harker Heights Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division at 254-953-5400.
