Killeen man arraigned on continuous violence charge

 Killeen man was arraigned Wednesday for allegedly hitting, biting, head-butting, dragging and kicking his wife.

Brian Anthony Mezzacappa, 25, was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke on a felony charge of continuous violence against the family

According to the arrest affidavit, police responded to the 1700 block of Kirk Avenue in Killeen on May 5 in regard to an assault with bodily injury on a family member who occupied that location. The report noted a previous history of violence between Mezzacappa and his wife, including separate events May 2 and May 4.

His bail was set at $20,000.

In an unrelated incident, Cooke arraigned Daine Anthony Watson, 25, of Killeen, on a felony charge of evading arrest with a motor vehicle. His bond is set at $20,000.
