BELTON — A Killeen man police say used his roommate's personal information to obtain loans from a local bank was indicted by a Bell County Grand Jury Wednesday.

Marshall Brandon Williams was indicted on a charge of fraudulent use of identifying information, a third-degree felony.

According to an arrest affidavit, Williams used his roommate's name, date of birth, social security number and other identifying information to take out a $1,000 loan at Fort Hood National Bank and a $750 loan at Navy Federal Credit Union.

The roommate also claimed Williams took his television and a watch. The television was recovered from a local pawnshop, the affidavit stated.
