Two men were injured in a late-night shooting and Killeen police are seeking information about four suspects who fled the scene.

Officers responded to a 911 call in the 2000 block of Schwald Road at 12:14 a.m. Saturday. While en route, they were notified of two gunshot victims, according to a Killeen Police Department news release.

Police said four armed males, all wearing masks, forced their way into the residence and demanded money. As the resident attempted to flee, he was shot in the leg. A second man was shot in the back. The four suspects left in an unknown vehicle southbound on Schwald Road.

The 48-year-old male resident was transported to the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. A 30-year-old man was transported to the Scott & White Hospital. Both are in stable condition, police said Saturday.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call 254-526-8477, go to www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com or text BELLCO along with the tip to 274367.
