Killeen shooting leaves two men in serious condition

Killeen police say a group of people were arguing in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Wyoming St. At some point two men pulled out guns and shot each other. One man was taken to Carl R. Darnall Medical Center and the other was taken to Scott & White Hospital and listed in serious condition.

Killeen police are investigating a Wednesday shooting that injured two men.

Officers responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired in the 500 block of Wyoming just after 8 p.m. Witnesses said two black men were involved in a verbal altercation that turned violent as both men exchanged gun fire, police said. Both men were in stable condition at Scott & White Hospital in Temple and no one else was injured in the incident.
