An arrest of two people in what police said was a stolen car impacted morning rush hour in Killeen on Friday.
Several Killeen police vehicles partially surrounded a maroon-colored SUV about 8 a.m. Friday on the westbound access road of U.S. Highway 190/Interstate 14 near Bates Nissan.
An officer pulled over the vehicle because it was reported stolen, according to Ofelia Miramontez, KPD spokeswoman.
Miramontez confirmed two suspects were arrested in the incident.
The suspects’ names will not be released until they are arraigned, Miramontez said.
The scene caused traffic delays on the access road, Central Texas Expressway.
