Two Killeen residents were killed in a Tuesday night shooting in Temple.

Temple police reportedly responded to a complaint of shots fired in the 1000 block of South 29th Street at 8:03 p.m. The first officers on scene reported hearing additional shots as they exited their patrol cars. Officers located one woman and two men with gunshot wounds outside a residence. One man was armed.

Shamara Henry, a 30-year-old Killeen woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The men were taken to Scott & White Hospital. Quista Henry, 30, of Killeen, was pronounced dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said. The other man is hospitalized with serious injuries.

Temple police continue to investigate.
