Killeen police Chief Charles Kimble will be at a meet-and-greet sponsored by Killeen Councilwoman Debbie Nash-King on Thursday.

Other police officers will be on hand to speak with residents, answer questions and learn safety tips.

The event will be held at the Killeen police headquarters at 3304 Community Boulevard from 6 to 8 p.m. It is free to the public, and refreshments will be served.

Councilwoman Shirley Fleming announced that Kimble will be at another meet-and-greet at The Village Co-op headquarters Friday. The event, which will be at 324 E. Ave. D in downtown Killeen, is also open to the public. It will run from 6 to 8 p.m.

Will he be posing for photos. Hey maybe we can charge to have your photos taken with him.
Maybe someone can ask how he is coming along on his certs? I doubt he will answer.

What get's me is they are pushing him down the peoples throats. It is like these city council people think with him getting photo shoot after photo shoot it will decrease crime. Even if it is increasing the crime rate at a higher rate.

Do the these council Members actually understand what is going on around them and how crime effects property value. Or is this just a personal agenda?

I wish KDHNEWS would actually go in and ask the tough questions of this so called top cop. Btw you can't be a top cop when your not certified any where in the United States.
