A Killeen woman was in jail after police said she attacked her roommate with a pair of knives over the weekend.

According to an arrest affidavit, Killeen police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance involving weapons at an apartment in the 800 block of Pecan Circle about 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Inside, the officers found Shataya Rosezetta Rene White, 30, standing and holding a knife in each hand. White appeared to be intoxicated and was taken into custody after she “tossed” the knifes in the direction of the officer, the affidavit stated.

Police also found a woman who claimed to be White’s roommate locked inside the apartment’s bathroom.

She said White had come into her bedroom and that she appeared to be intoxicated. The two got into an argument that turned physical.

The woman said White ran into the kitchen, grabbed a knife and ran at her with it. The woman ran into a bedroom, blocking a door with her body to keep White from getting in.

According to the affidavit, White stabbed through the door, nearly stabbing her roommate in the face. The roommate then retreated to a bathroom until the police arrived.

White was arraigned Monday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin. Jail records show White was booked into Bell County Jail, and her bail was set at $100,000.

The following individuals were also arraigned of felony charges:

Miguel Anthony Drake, 33, of Killeen, on a charge of burglary of a habitation. Drake’s bail was set at $50,000
