A 36-year-old Killeen woman is facing felony charges after police said she attacked and bit a police officer.
Vonceil Precious Olds was arraigned Monday by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke on a charge of assault on a public servant.
According to an arrest affidavit, a Killeen police officer was attempting to arrest Olds when the incident occurred Friday. Olds struggled with officers and bit one of them during the altercation, the affidavit stated. Olds is in Bell County Jail. Her bail was set at $100,000. Jail records showed an additional misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest, search or transport, against Olds. Bail for that charge was set at $5,000.
The following people were arraigned on unrelated charges:
Jacqueline Denise Harris, 49, on a charge of possession of cocaine, less than 1 gram. Harris’ bail was set at $20,000.
Clarissa Lavon Bett, 40, on a charge of possession of amphetamine, more than 4 grams but less than 400 grams. Betts’ bail was set at $50,000.
Robert Lloyd Herring, 52, on a charge of injury to an elderly person. Herring’s bail was set
Felicia Ann Vowell, 24, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram.
Dejuan Deshawn Davis, 25, on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Area police reports indicated:
Driving while intoxicated was reported at 2:15 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Central Texas Expressway and South W.S. Young Drive.
A burglary of a vehicle was reported at 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of Wright Way.
