A Killeen woman was arraigned Wednesday on a felony charge of failing to pay for rented furniture, according to an arrest affidavit.

Iisha Woods, 26, was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke on a felony charge of theft of service in an amount of $1,500 or more but less than $20,000.

According to the report, Woods rented a washing machine, a dryer, a TV, a TV stand and living room furniture from a rental store in Killeen in October. The report states the property had a value of $4,130.

The store owner contacted Woods several times via phone in regard to her failure to make weekly payments on the furniture since renting it, according to the report.

The store owner stated she spoke with Woods and Woods “understood that she needed to either return the property or make payments.”

The store owner also stated in the report that she went to Woods’ residence but failed to make contact with her.

Woods’ bail was set at $20,000.
