Killeen police are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who went missing after a domestic dispute Tuesday.
Jessyca Lauren Hartzler Shannon, 26, was last seen Tuesday, according to a statement from the Killeen Police Department. Police said Shannon appeared to be involved in a domestic dispute earlier that day.
According to police, officers responded at 12:43 p.m. Tuesday to the 1200 block of Missouri Avenue after witnesses told them they saw a “struggle” between a man and woman.
Witnesses said it appeared the man forced the woman into a silver or gray 2007 Hyundai Elantra with the Texas license plate CST-6532. Police said the vehicle was seen in the Lampasas area about 2 p.m. and was occupied by both people. The man was later identified as her husband, Wesley Bo Shannon.
Witnesses told officers that Wesley Bo Shannon, 19, possibly forced Jessyca Shannon into the vehicle and was possibly holding her against her will.
Wesley Shannon, 19, is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a teardrop tattoo under his left eye.
Jessyca Hartzler Shannon is about 5 feet tall and weighs 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and jeans.
Officers are asking anyone who sees this vehicle or either person to contact their local police department.
