Killeen police arrested a man who allegedly took a loaded firearm into a local club.

Julian Bernard Culbreath Jr. entered a club in the 700 block of Elms Street in Killeen about 1 a.m. July 26, according to an arrest affidavit.

When officers arrived, the manager of Club Wallstreet said Culbreath entered with a firearm. The manager said the club is licensed for the sale of alcoholic beverages, but has a felony notice that clearly states that weapons may not be carried on the premises.

An officer searched Culbreath’s body by conducting a pat-down and felt a hard object in the vest he was wearing.

Culbreath said he had a concealed handgun license, but later said he didn’t, the affidavit stated.

Inside Culbreath’s vest, officers found a small 9mm pistol loaded with five rounds.

Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke arraigned Culbreath on a charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon on a licensed premise, setting his bail at $25,000.

Cooke also arraigned Vince John Manibusan, 39, on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, less than 1 gram. Cooke set his bail at $25,000.
