Killeen police arrested a 29-year-old man they said had trace amounts of cocaine in his possession when they responded to a disturbance.

Police arrested Felipe Rene Caban and charged him with possession of cocaine, less than 1 gram, after responding to a domestic disturbance in the 5200 block of Daybreak Drive in Killeen early Thursday.

An officer saw Caban shirtless and soaking wet on the front porch of the home. The officer detected an odor of alcohol emanating from Caban, according to an arrest affidavit.

The female resident told police Caban had been showing up at her home and causing problems. That night, he had kicked the doors and windows of the residence, the affidavit stated.

Police detained Caban on suspicion of public intoxication.

At the city jail, a guard found a plastic bag containing 0.02 grams of a white powdery substance that field tested positive as cocaine, the affidavit stated.

Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin arraigned Caban on Friday, setting his bail at $20,000.
