A 26-year-old Killeen man is behind bars after police said he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl.

Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin arraigned Michael Lorance Lee Jr. Tuesday, setting his bail at $100,000 for a charge of sexual assault. The charge stems from an incident Dec. 29 at a Killeen residence.

Police learned of a possible sexual assault on Sunday, when the 14-year-old made an accusation of abuse.

She stated that the day of the alleged incident Lee entered her room and touched her genitals and breasts, the affidavit stated.

In an interview with police, Lee initially denied any inappropriate contact with the girl.

Lee later changed his story. He claimed he and his wife had been sexually assaulted, and told police that he touched the girl as a form of “training” so that she could defend herself from sexual assaults.

Potvin also arraigned Donavon Cornell Clark, 26, on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, less than 1 gram. Clark’s bail was set at $25,000.
