KPD: Man stole pipes from library toilets

Killeen police are searching for a man who stole metal piping from a city library Saturday.

According to witnesses, the man walked into a restroom at the Killeen City Library's main branch, 205 N. Gray St., and stole piping from several toilets.

Police described him as a tall, white or light-skinned bald man wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

Security video showed the man leaving the scene in a small orange hatchback car.

Detectives are asking anyone who can identify the man to contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com.

A $1,000 cash reward is being offered.
