A Killeen man is facing felony charges after police said he shot and wounded two men in September.
Marcus Leroy White, 27, was arraigned Thursday by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke on two third-degree felony charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
On Sept. 1, Killeen police responded to a call in the 1100 block of Old Farm-to-Market 440, where they found a man who had been shot in the left thigh, according to an arrest affidavit.
The victim said he was in an apartment in the Ashton Park complex when a man, later identified as White, asked him to leave the apartment and brandished a gun at him. The man with the gun chased him down the street and shot him, he told police.
Police found a second man who was shot at the corner of Bonnie and Pershing drives, near the apartment complex.
That man said he was shot while trying to leave the Ashton Park complex that night. White was later identified by witnesses and at least one of the victims, the affidavit stated. He is in custody in Bell County Jail, and his bail is set at $200,000.
The following individual also was arraigned on unrelated charges Thursday:
Tyler David Ebanks, 21, on a charge of injury to a child causing serious bodily injury. Ebanks’ bail was set at $100,000.
