Keavy Blalock, 41, was arraigned Monday in Killeen on the charge of possession of a controlled substance over 4 grams while less than 200 grams.

About 2 a.m. Oct. 16 near Wright Way in Killeen, a vehicle committed a traffic violation for an incorrect lane change while turning right on to Westcliff Road, according to a police affidavit on the case.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as Blalock.

As the officer performed a check on the vehicle, a camera bag was found, and inside one of the compartments were two plastic baggies containing a controlled substance that was later identified as methamphetamine.

In total, nearly 7 grams of methamphetamine was found in the camera bag, the affidavit said.

Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke set Blalock’s bond at $50,000.
