Police charged a 28-year-old Killeen man with burglary of a habitation after police said residents caught the man stealing from their garage.

Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin arraigned Jonathan Ray Stovall on Thursday on a charge of burglary of a habitation and set Stovall’s bond at $50,000.

Police arrested Stovall on Tuesday after speaking with a man and a woman. They told police they spotted Stovall in their garage, an arrest affidavit states.

They chased Stovall out of the home and he ran to a nearby residence.

They then found speakers, tools and a wide trimmer on the porch of the home that had been in their garage, the affidavit states.

Police then arrested Stovall.

Potvin also arraigned the following:
