COPPERAS COVE — Police on Saturday arrested a man suspected of a June home burglary. He did not remain in Coryell County as of Tuesday.

Justice of the Peace Bill Price arraigned Sheridon Hale Groves II on Saturday on a charge of burglary of a habitation. Price set his bond at $20,000.

Police discovered a reportedly stolen Xbox 360 and several of its components after conducting a search of Groves’ vehicle, an arrest affidavit stated.

Groves told officers he recently purchased the game console from someone, the affidavit stated.

However, he could not tell the officers who or where the electronics were purchased.

Police searched Groves’ vehicle after locating it at a dead-end roadway in a Copperas Cove trailer park at 1:20 a.m. Saturday. Groves and another person were sitting inside the vehicle at the time.
