William Hansen, 23, on Monday was arraigned on a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with an incident at a Harker Heights business.

Police were dispatched to the business Friday in reference to a report of a man hitting another in the head with a pool cue. According to the arrest affidavit, when police arrived at the business, they observed a cut on the victim’s head. The victim was transported to Fort Hood’s Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center for treatment.

Hansen was no longer at the business when police arrived, but several witnesses identified him. According to the report, he was arrested later that evening during a traffic stop. Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin set Hansen’s bail at $100,000.
