A local man was arraigned on aggravated assault charge, after police said he broke into a woman’s home in Killeen, kidnapped her and raped her.

James Allen Brickley Jr., 29, is charged with entering a woman’s home March 6 and threatening her with a knife, according to the affidavit.

He then bound her with shoelaces, drove her to a wooded area, and threatened to both drown her and hit her with a rock before he raped her, police said.

Brickley is being held on $200,000 bond in the Bell County Jail. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke.

Arraigned in an unrelated case was Frank Anthony Hunter, on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle and the unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was held on $50,000 bond.
